A clinic you can trust

Hands-On Physical Therapy, LLC was established in 2002 by the owners, Richard Gahman, DPT and Marcia Gahman, PT. The practice started with an out-patient office in Spring Township serving both pediatric and adult patients with various orthopedic and neurologic conditions. Soon after, Hands-On PT became an Early Intervention provider for the county and now has more than a dozen therapists with various specialties to serve specific populations, such as developmental delays, Down Syndrome, behavioral problems, autism, etc. In the adult out-patient program, we have certified hand therapists and physical therapists that specialize in orthopedic and neurologic injuries and conditions..

We are always happy to talk with you by phone about your condition free of charge.

What our clients Say

I recently found myself in need of physical therapy and because I heard that Rick Gahman was very good, I made an appointment with him. Rick started treatments and exercises that provided almost immediate results. It seemed so simple and I felt much better very quickly. Physical therapy enabled me to continue my workouts at the gym, which I find so beneficial.

Just wanted to say THANKS SO MUCH for bringing mobility back into my life! The progress I have shown couldn't have happened without you, and I'm truly grateful for all of your help and encouragement... Take care, and I'll be sure to send any "walking wounded" over to you for your expert care. Thanks again!

Karen Barshinger

After numerous visits to a chiropractor for a pinched nerve in my neck without any results, I decided to take another route. I was referred to Hands-On Physical Therapy by my primary physician. I can say that each visit to Hands-On PT resulted in improvement to my strength and range of motion. The pain in my neck and shoulder also eased with each visit. After only 3 1/2 weeks of treatment my strength and full range of motion has returned and my pain has subsided to the point I no longer need the medications prescribed by my physician. I highly recommend Hands-On. Not only was the therapy I received highly effective, but the staff is friendly and professional.

Richard “Pete” Gettel

At Hands On Physical Therapy I got the treatment I needed to get my RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy) under control. I saw many physicians did not even recognize my rare disorder. Rick Gahman, MPT saw me every single visit using various treatments, I went from a wheel chair to walking again. I can honestly say that Hands On Physical Therapy gave me the opportunity to get back to normal living again!
